Curriculum
We use the A Beka curriculum, a Christ-centered phonics, math, and science-based program produced by Pensacola Christian College. In addition, students are offered a variety of daily activities including dramatic play, arts and crafts, story time, and creative free play. Monthly themes are reinforced weekly and daily with corresponding academic fun sheets, activities, songs, and finger plays. Each week, different numbers and letters are explored.
Music & Movement
Music plays a tremendously important role in academic enrichment. Students enjoy thirty minutes weekly in a special Music and Movement class designed to promote the love of music, as-well-as to enhance all areas of development. Additional songs and finger plays are presented by the teachers within the individual classrooms on a daily basis.
Children's Literature
Age appropriate literature encourages language development and teaches children about the world they live in.
Library and other interesting books are rotated weekly within the classrooms to provide an ongoing supply of new and exciting material for the students to enjoy. Bible stories, poems, puppets, and songs teach positive and loving character traits.
